Location: Tamarindo is located on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast in Guanacaste Province. Tamarindo is the best option if you are looking for a natural spot to spend your vacations!! Tamarindo is about 260 km from the Costa Rica’s capital San Jose. You can travel to Tamarindo from San Jose either by air (40 min) or by car (4-5 hours).
